MOVED! [Mar. 13th, 2006|03:50 pm]

After everything, I just moved my site to an ftp server and changed the URL (www.rabbitprince.tk) it's shorter, so hopefully easier to remember. ^^ Neer, I feel too lazy to change the links from all my previous entries. xD *slacker*

I haven't posted in a while! ^^; Ahaha, but I don't know if I have much to say. I'm on my march break so I've got this week off (whoo!) and all I've been doing is looking up Miyavi clips at youtube.com. I've got such a slow internet connection ;_; but the wait's worth it all when it comes to Meevers. xD

Hope you guys are doin' great. :3

Money! Me needs it! [Feb. 11th, 2006|12:35 pm]
Ohh, March Break is coming up! O_O Ever since I moved to a new city, my old friends have been asking me when I'm going to be visiting them, and I want to so badly! I'm missing my hometown like there's no tomorrow. T_T And this year's been extra tough on me because I've never moved, ever, not even to a new house. So I decided that I wanted to visit all my old friends this March Break (13th to 17th), so I'm trying to raise money to buy a plane ticket to fly right on over there.

To do that, I'm trying to sell prints of my artwork. Examples can be found on my website or my DeviantART gallery, since it has more choices. If you're interested at all, please tell me! All the informations down here, but if you have an questions, don't hesitate to ask. ^^

Size and Price
  • Glossy Photopaper
  • 8.5 x 11in ($15.00+ shipping and handling)

Payment
  • Mail a cheque (or)
  • Transfer through Paypal

Contact
  • jprp_site@hotmail.com (for personal mailing info.)

Just email me with the web address / URL of the picture you have in mind. I'll find the original file, and run off to get it printed. The print will be mailed to you once payment is received.

Thank you in advance for any consideration, I appreciate it to no ends, and will forever be grateful. I plan on making the most of the time in my hometown and visiting friends, once I raise enough money. ^^

I'm feeling pretty happy since I have no school tomorrow, whoohoo! Been CGing a Ruki portrait, little by little, and the only thing I can say is: "It's awfully blue." I'm also drinking some weird low calory drink my dad bought. O_o Holy jeebus, this stuff tastes like crap! And I'm not even on a diet, or any thing like that, I think I need more meat on my bones. XD

I thought this was accurate. XD I'm pretty insane on the inside all right, kooky, crazy and all that stuff inbetween. Plus I was bored. . .Bored. -.- z Z Z

Choco-lates [Feb. 5th, 2006|08:37 pm]

Why can't I stop eating these chocolates?! Whyyyyy...?
M&M's are addicting, I swear they must put something in it. Like peanuts. I have an obsession with peanuts. Hmmm, peanuts...*Homer drool*

Alrighty, that aside, I just wanna thank everyone for welcoming me to the LJ community! It makes me feel snug at home, and I've met some really friendly people. I think I'm starting to get the hang of things, so yay! A special shout out to the people who traced me from DeviantArt and SheezyArt, because they make this place feel more familiar.

A big hug for those of you who added me back! I'd glomp you to death if I could.

Oh, oh! I've also got a question. You know the page where you comment on entries? Can you change the color scheme at all? Or do you need a paid account? Much appreciated for any answers.

I guess I decided to create one of these LiveJournal pages for the fun of it, I've got webpages floating around everywhere these days, and it'll still continue, buwahaha! I'll dominate the virtual world one itty-bitty fraction at a time. If you don't know already, the banner is of Ruki from Gazette.

J-rock. It's fan-freaking-tastic.

Art is a huge thing for me, so I'll be regularily updating them. Where else can you find my art? DeviantART.com, and of course, finally revamped and rebooted, my personal website! Found at www.rabbitprince.vze.com and don't forget to sign the guestbook! (found in the "Extra" section, oy...gotta clean that place out one of these days). I've been promoting the thing for a while, and people are probably sick of me soliting visits already, but sorry! I can't help it...

Since I'm a total noob at these huge...HUGE place, I wouldn't mind finding someone to help me out. Pwetty please, with a pickled cherry on top? I have no idea where to meet people, or get any visitations.

A little autobiography can be found in the first entry I posted (yes, pasted directly from my site, because I'm a lazy bum that doesn't want to write another introduction). I swear, this is the third entry update in a single day. I shouldn't get used to mass-posting.

[music |Gazette]

Born in Manitoba, Canada, and I've got Winnipeg as my hometown. (I've got a special place in my heart for the Prairies). I was always a quiet child growing up, and still am when need be. I'm an observer, the kind of when you think no one's watching you, but there I am. In the background. Boo! Passionate about some things, drab about others, and passive I am. I'd rather ignore then to argue. And believe me, I'm really good at ignoring you. I've got a will made out of steel! Huh. Maybe not.

Other then art, what I like to do in my spare time is to do web design, such as this site. Reading is always big for me, nothing like painting a vivid picture in your mind solely with words. My favorite genres include angst and psychological thriller. Death is a bonus. . . What? Tragedies are just so fun.

My music of choice is rock. My favorite group of all time are the Gorillaz. Along with them, I like Franz Ferdinand, Evanescence, The Used and System of a Down. Classic music, since I play the piano, I’ve grown accustomed to. But please, only in the minor key. I love, love eerie instrumentals and those haunting choir-atic voices. I've also got a few J-Rock artists lurking behind my back.

......................................| T H E | A R T S |......................................

Self-taught in every sense of the word. The only artistic “training” or classes I’ve gotten were the ones provided by my highschool. I did go to some Sunday classes provided by the local Winnipeg art gallery, but learned nothing. We were just left to do out projects however we wanted.

I always liked Anime since the first time I saw those little kiddie shows. I liked them so much that I decided to test my hand in drawing them. In my younger years, I solely did fan art and nothing else. After a while, I figured that it really wasn’t the way to go, so say hello to my original characters. Again, they fell into the "Anime types" but again, it's evolution. My style's in constant developpement and right now, my focus is realism, or atleast semi-realism with a cartoon twist. I'll be watching cartoons 'til I'm 75!

Painting for me came later on. Still getting used to it of course, anything from acrylic to watercolors. My medium of choice would be the ball-point pen. Why? Because I could get a similar effect of a pencil and it doesn’t smudge! Welp, I’m a happy camper. No fancy ones though for me, I like the cheap blue ones; chewable at the ends whenever I feel like knawing on something.

As for digital art, practically all my coloring is done in Adobe Photoshop Elements. It's basic. It's easy. Special effects and editing may be done in a more advanced version. I had to learn CG by myself, and boy did I struggle with it in the beginning. But after you get the hang on it, it's smooth sailing from there. Online tutorials were always confusing so I never followed it.

But lastly and most importantly, I'm an emperimenter. I love testing different subject matters, dipping into my twisted imagination, and just skewing all different mediums.
I also like using big words. They make me feel smart.
